TBH inquest: Blood on stairwell?

The visit by coroner Azmil Muntapha Abas and a few legal teams to the Selangor Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission office in Shah Alam has raised further questions concerning the death of DAP political aide Teoh Beng Hock. This was because stains, which might be blood, were found on the stairwell linking the 14th floor, the main entrance of the MACC office, to the 15th floor portion of the office. More stains were seen in a room on the 15th floor. Shockingly, it was revealed to the coroner that the police have not taken samples of the stains.
According to counsel for Teoh's family Lim Lip Eng (left), it was originally arranged for the coroner to visit the entire 14th floor, but lawyers asked to see the 15th floor as well. "We were walking up the staircase to the 15th floor through the backdoor. When we reached the 15th floor, we found a two-feet long stain on the floor of the staircase. “We asked the director of (Selangor) MACC what was the stain but he didn't know. The police investigating officer said he would inspect the substance," said Lim. When the team entered the 15th floor office, they were not allowed to visit individual rooms. Lim said they saw more stains on a wall in the room when they looked through a glass pane on the door. “It looked like blood. I can't say for sure. Once again, we asked the director and the investigating officer and they said they didn't know about it and did not include it as part of the investigations,” said an irate Lim, who is also Segambut MP.
Police probe still ongoing?
In view of this, Lim chided the police for failing to conduct a thorough investigation. He also claimed that the police were still in the process of securing DNA samples from new suspects. He also lamented that since police investigations are still ongoing, it may compromise the inquest process. "This is not going according to procedure. An inquest should not be rushed. Police investigations should be completed first so the facts can be produced for the coroner's consideration. "Yesterday, the DNA expert was put on the dock. If those are really blood tains, does it mean the expert has to be called back again soon? This will drag the inquest on," said Lim.
Barely a week after Teoh died on July 16, the cabinet instructed the Attorney-General's Chambers to apply for an inquest, which began on July 29. Earlier, the press were given a runaround by the police escorting the coroner and the legal team. While the horde of pressmen guarded the 14th floor entrance of the MACC office, the coroner exited through the 15th floor and proceeded to the fifth-floor to inspect the landing where Teoh's body was found. When the coroner was done with the fifth floor, the police again gave reporters the slip by ushering him into a staircase to avoid the pressmen crowding the lift lobby.

Sad but it seems that the Police is doing the investigation half heartedly.

YB
What do it mean when Teoh ws hold by his belt and possible snapped? Does it means he is outside the window which has to be climbed out?

i think it simply means Teoh was held out from the window by some one. His belt was grabbed and then snapped and Teoh smashed to the groud like a melon. why would he climb out from the window, werent there doors in the building?

Possible anwers by the police:- 1)"you guys watched too much CSI, the truth is we have more sophisticated equipement here in Malaysia ...but still stored in boxes not opened yet"
2)"we are very sure the blood did not belong to Teoh that's why we did not collect sample... how did we know? cox it belonged to another man who was bashed up during another investigation"
3)"the cleaning lady tak buat kerja bukan salah kita"
4)"kita tak de masa nak ambil sample sebab kita sibuk tangkap you orang buat kacau demonstrasi haram"
5)"Polis gaji sikit je, you expect kita orang panjat satu tingkat lebih tanpa elaun?"
6)"itu darah dulu tak de punya, mesti kamu orang DAP sindiri bikin"
7)"itu bukan kerje kita"

May be Teoh was lock in an airtight box & die of suffocated, that's why no traces of prescription of drugs in his urine and blood samples. After he die they drag him on his left leg and belt & throw him outside the window to create a suicide story.

the coronoer simply pronounced Teoh's death as suicide reason being : there was no other evidents showing otherwise. Then it is safe for the people to understand that the policy of the authority is : in any fatal case if the police could not find any evidents then the deceased must have killed himself.

How convenient was that, since there they were damn sure that there was no foul play (under no circumstance would they admit that there was foul play), so the only possible conclusion was Teoh must have killed himself. I dont need a coroner to tell me that!

They really think we live in stone age? where people could still be fooled around? For heaven sake, any logical thinking human being will know that Teoh was killed, the very least the authority could have done was put up a show to investigate before they simply pronounce that Teoh killed himself. Come on, Teoh, killed himself by jumping out of a window, for the tax money that we paid, they could have done a better show than that!

when i leave something in your care and custody, I'll expect you to answer when the thing is damaged. You dont just simply answer by saying "it has self destroyed". The duty lies on those who has custody and possession. Teoh was simply in MACC's custody. You have to answer how on earth a life could have ended in your custody.

why am i not surprise that Teoh was dead? Anything could happen in Malaysia, and any answer could be given by the authority and whether it is legal or not, sustanable or not, it does not matter, cox it is not even logical so what does it matter anyway!

Cheer up folks, at least "teoh did not die in vain", see, after his death, the MACC finally put a stop to investigate all politician. How timely and convenient. Truly Malaysia Boleh. This is the most bizarre developement one could not have even imagined even with its wildest imaginary power.

I am keen to build on the good work of the Forum for Preventing Deaths in Custody, and to further contribute to our learning from deaths in custody across all custodial settings in a bid to reduce the number of those deaths.'

July 16 2009 Malaysia Government said "Teoh comitted suicide or the belt killed Teoh"
